Neurobics are activities or mental (cognitive) exercises that stimulate the brain to prevent memory loss and improve memory recall. Just as physical exercise stimulates the muscles, neurobic exercises stimulate the brain. These tasks help to activate the brain's own biochemical pathways and bring new pathways online that can help to strengthen or preserve brain circuits.
